A student's style of dress and grooming may reflect
individual preference, however such preferences must be selected within the
constraints of reasonable rules and appropriate standards that are consistent
with the maintenance of an effective learning atmosphere,

Clothing & Grooming Recommendations
All students at Casa Richard Academy are expected to dress in a modest and respectable manner. Neatness, cleanliness, and appropriate dress, are necessary in order to present a well-groomed appearance and promote proper social behavior.
Personal hygiene should be maintained at all times. Students may be restricted from school if their attire includes any of the following:
- House slippers, flip-flops (shower shoes) or other non-shoe footwear
- Tank tops/spaghetti straps, strapless or halter-tops, sheer see-through blouses or tops that expose the midriff
- Pajamas or other lounge wear
- Clothing or jewelry with alcohol, tobacco, controlled substance advertisement/references or sexual innuendoes
- Hooded tops of any kind
- Headgear of any kind including, but not limited to: hats, caps, headbands, scarves, do-rags, stocking caps, bandanas, baseball caps
- Sunglasses or dark glasses (if the latter are prescribed, medical documentation must be presented)
- Any clothing that the administration deems inappropriate for a learning environment will not be permitted
These articles may not be worn in the building and may be immediately
confiscated. If a student refuses to abide by the rules, he or she will be sent
home.
