Mary Pat Michalzuk
Ms. Michalzuk graduated
from Grosse Pointe North High School and attended Western Michigan University,
where she received her Bachelors of Business with a teaching certificate. She
has taught at St. Agatha in Redford, Ferndale Adult Education, and SerMetro of
Detroit.
She has been with our
school since 1996, taught the Business/Vocational Ed. classes (including
Computer 1, Business Technology, Accounting, Life Skills, Occupational Planning,
and Business Communication), and has served as Junior Class Advisor, Yearbook
Teacher, and Student Council Advisor.
This year she is senior class co-advisor.
At Casa Richard, she likes
the size of
the school, the
students, and atmosphere and her favorite part of teaching is the students.
Her biggest challenge at Casa is getting students to choose a career. The
message she’d like to give to students at Casa is “Find what you like to do, set
a goal, and you will succeed”.
She enjoys playing euchre
(friendly and in tournaments), likes to go out to the movies and dinners and
just like hanging out with her friends and family.
