Michael Reed

As a highly-qualified teacher, graduating “cum laude” with a bachelor’s degree in Education from Wayne State University, Mr. Reed is an eight-year veteran of Casa Richard Academy. He has, at one time or another, been responsible for teaching the entire social studies curriculum at one time or another. However, he is currently teaching US History, World History,  Michigan History, Detroit History, and Global Geography. He also serves as chairperson of CRA’s Community and Parental Relations committee.

Mr. Reed’s goals are to inspire his students to become more than they ever dream possible and to model the type of behavior and character necessary to succeed in an ever-increasingly competitive world.

He has a beautiful wife, Beth, and two exceptional sons, Austin and Brett. He is a passionate fan of sports and music and has been playing hockey and golf for more than 30 years!
