Tawania Smith

 

Tawania Nyisha Smith – born and raised in Detroit, MI

 

Tawania completed High School in three years. She was awarded the Detroit Principals award in 1996 for being in the top 2% of the graduating seniors class of 1996.  Mrs. Smith was an active duty member of the United States Army. She graduated from Marygrove College in 2006 earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics, and in 2008 earning a Masters of Education degree with focus in Leadership.  Mrs. Smith is a mother four, three girls one boy.
